Rite Foods Limited has been recognised among the Top 50 Nigerian Companies of Impact for 2026 at this year's Industry Newspaper Awards.

The recognition highlights companies considered to be making contributions to Nigeria's economic and social development through areas including innovation, sustainability, job creation and community development.

Rite Foods was recognised for its activities in Nigeria's food and beverage industry, including investments in manufacturing infrastructure, technology, product development and sustainability initiatives.

The company said its recognition also reflects its efforts in local value creation, employment, community engagement and environmental sustainability, as well as its contribution to Nigeria's fast-moving consumer goods sector.

According to Goddie Ofose, Editor-in-Chief and Chief Executive Officer of Industry Newspaper, the Top 50 Companies of Impact recognition is intended to highlight organisations whose activities demonstrate economic, social and environmental value.

Ofose specifically cited Rite Foods' environmental initiatives, including its Waste-Is-Naira (W.I.N.) programme and Riteonthebeach project, which focus on plastic waste recovery and environmental awareness.

Commenting on the recognition, Ekuma Eze, Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Rite Foods, said the award reflects the company's efforts across innovation, human capital development, community engagement and sustainability.

The recognition adds to Rite Foods' profile within Nigeria's food and beverage industry, where companies are increasingly focusing on local manufacturing, product innovation and sustainability alongside commercial growth.
